Guest Speaker - AirPlus International Inc. - Matthew Talbot, Product Marketing & Business Intelligence Technology Mgr
Matthew Talbot is a senior manager with global experience. He has over 12 years of travel industry experience including 10 within the corporate card industry.
As Business Intelligence & Technology Manager for AirPlus International, Inc., Matthew Talbot is responsible for the overall product development and management of AirPlus technology in North America. Talbot also oversees the AirPlus Data Lab, a custom designed laboratory for educating and training AirPlus customers on AirPlus products and services. AirPlus International, Inc. is the US subsidiary of the European market leader in corporate travel payment systems and management information reporting solutions.
Prior to joining AirPlus in September 2007, Talbot worked at Visa USA managing new technology implementation projects including Visa's contactless products. Prior to this, he was with UATP (Universal Air Travel Plan), where he was responsible for the operational development and membership growth within the Asia Pacific region and later within North America. Talbot also worked at Air New Zealand to implement the Air New Zealand UATP program and Y2K program management.
Talbot is a graduate of New Zealand's Auckland University with degrees in International Business and mathematics.
