2018 has been a year of change and innovation. Let’s take a look back at what occurred, some of the new entrants and how it affected all of us. As we review the past, we will want to discuss 2019 and beyond with an eye on how Corporate Travel Managers can add value to their travel programs. This interactive session will include a review of 2018, delivered by our speaker and with input from all attendees. All of us can gain knowledge through the shared experiences of others which will help in positioning us as we prepare for challenges and seek opportunities in 2019 and beyond!

Guest Presenter: Mark Walton, Executive Vice President - Strategy, Options Travel

Mark Walton is an industry expert in the field of corporate travel management and related areas of the travel industry.Previously, Mark held the position of Vice President Strategy and Account Management at Orbitz for Business where he was responsible for strategy, account management, implementation and supplier relations.

Mark was a founding partner of Consulting Strategies, a leading corporate travel consulting firm, and Travel Solutions Group, which provides merger and acquisition services to the travel industry.Overall Mark has more than 30 years of experience in various roles throughout the travel industry, including management positions at Northwest Airlines.

Mark is often quoted in the travel industry press and has delivered numerous presentations at industry conventions and regional forums on such topics as globalization, agency/corporate financial modeling, airline distribution methods, expense management systems, travel policy, and corporate airfare strategies.
