1:00pm – 2:30pm: Afternoon Session: Using the European General Data Protection Regulations to Champion Business Change Management by Bruce Smith, Tenax Analytics Ltd
The introduction of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) has meant that data management has become core to multinational businesses. The result is a reevaluation of internal processes as well as systems and ultimately the way they work with both clients and their own supply chain. The next step after managing the tactical steps of the data risk is to manage the business risk to companies and look at the whole business problem facing companies with global interest to ensure long term success and sustainability.
We will also touch on how unique research techniques can evidence the risk assessment of your data bases to support the lawful basis for processing data whilst minimizing the risk of complaints. Leading to a better understanding of target audiences, through a deeper understanding of segmenting of marketing databases.
