Our morning education session will feature a review of 2007 full year data from several industry sources, including ARC, and will provide information for the travel manager to take back and compare to their year end numbers. The session is open to all members.
Mike Premo from Arc will be our featured speaker. Mike will provide an introduction to ARC, what it does, what it doesn't do and a high-level view of how it handles the U.S. agency settlement process. He will also offer some thoughts on key issues facing distribution decision-makers, where the agency channel could be headed and what ARC is doing about it.
As Vice President of Marketing, Sales & Customer Care, Mike Premo manages relationships with all ARC customer groups, including travel agents, corporate travel departments, carriers, and third parties. In addition, Mike is responsible for growing ARC's sales program in support of the company's broad range of products and services. Before joining ARC in 2006, he served as Senior Vice President, Global Network for TQ3 Travel Solutions, as well as holding senior executive positions at Navigant International, TQ3's parent company. No stranger to Northern Virginia, Premo spent a dozen years with SatoTravel where from 1990-1999, he served as President and CEO. Born in Detroit, Mike grew up in Minnesota and began his industry career with Northwest Airlines as a front-line reservations sales agent.
