Leading up to the 2021 hotel program season there were many discussions in the industry about whether travel buyers should or should not do the hotel RFP for the 2021 rates. 

Hotels were pushing buyers to roll over the 2020 rates to 2021, whereas other industry voices are saying that buyers should not automatically roll over if they want to keep their jobs.

Well, the dust has more or less settled so let's hear from some industry experts about what happened, what worked, and what didn't work. We will also set the scene with the industry metrics pre-Covid, Covid, and emerging from Covid and discuss whether some of the new approaches that we have seen will be permanent or whether programs will revert to the traditional way of business in 2022.
