Corey Lowe works for Enterprise Holdings where she is the Director of Business Rental Sales for the Michigan and Northern Ohio Groups. Her team works to create custom ground transportation solutions for companies looking to unlock greater business value from their everyday travel needs. Corey and her amazing team go beyond a traditional car rental program to offer ongoing program analysis and optimization and work to include unique solutions such as onsite carsharing, light and medium-duty truck solutions, and/or commute solutions.

Presented by: Kelly Carter, Chair, Michigan Human Trafficking Commission Senior Attorney Specialist - Michigan Department of Attorney General

Kelly Carter has been an Assistant Attorney General for over 20 years in the Criminal Division with past assignments including the High Tech Crime Unit, Child Protection Unit, and the Mortgage Fraud Unit. For the past 10 years, she has focused on prosecuting human traffickers, having convicted over 2 dozen people under the state’s human trafficking statute.

As a result of this training, attendees will be able to:

• Differentiate between human trafficking and other crimes
• Recognize the circumstances which make human trafficking victims vulnerable
• Identify strategies to effectively recognize human trafficking victims
• Identify additional resources on recognizing and assisting human trafficking victims

Downriver for Veterans, our 2021 Charity of Focus, is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to supporting local veterans in Downriver Michigan communities. They are dedicated to enhancing the pride and patriotism in all Michiganders by building a stronger, more supportive community around those who served us.

Lisa will lead a discussion with travel managers and suppliers about what their organizations are doing, what the latest technologies are bringing forth, and what we might expect to see in the coming months.

COVID Relief Pricing:

Basic Members without the meetings package: $30
Guests and Non-Members: $50
Prices increase by $10 after 5:00 pm 9/10/21.

Benchmarking Session:

Direct Members, the Benchmarking Session is included in your event registration. There is no cost to attend the Benchmarking Session only.

Exhibit tables:

Members: $75, includes one event ticket

Charity Wine Drawing

As we continue our support for Downriver for Veterans, we will host a wine drawing at the September meeting! Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Bring a bottle to donate and receive an extra ticket!
