This event focuses on Sustainability with a fun twist! We'll hear from Courtney Ring from GBTA's Sustainability Committee as well as participate in an activity at the Detroit Zoo!

If you haven't already, you'll probably soon be asked to create a sustainability-focused business travel policy. Are our companies willing to take the actions necessary to make real progress in reducing carbon emissions?

Allow Courtney Ring, VP of Business Development for American Express and a member of GBTA's Sustainability Committee, to start the conversation with us. 

Session Objectives:
1. Bring clarity to all the buzzwords around sustainability as well as the definitions, terminology, and acronyms utilized when talking about business travel sustainability.
2. Connect with the latest industry survey results around business travel and sustainability.
3. Learn about the Sustainable Development Goals and how the Paris Agreement spurred climate action around the globe.
4. Discover how and where to start when it comes to building a sustainable travel program.

Registration Information

Registration must be received by 5:00 pm on Friday, June 10. Registrations received after this time will incur a $10 late fee. 

Dress Code

Be comfortable for this event. Some walking around the zoo is required for the afternoon activity so wear comfortable shoes.

Where to Park

Enter through Gate 1 on 10 Mile Road. Follow the roadway to reach the 10 Mile Parking Lot. Park in the west end of the 10 Mile Parking Lot, near the Rackham Fountain Entrance/Gate B.
