Join us for a summer day of fun, food, and friendly competition at "Parks, Putts & Food Trucks: GBTA Michigan Summer Social"! This casual networking event is the perfect chance to unwind, connect with fellow industry professionals, enjoy exciting yard games like putt putt golf, and indulge in our sweet and spirited Dessert Duel contest. Don’t miss this opportunity to mix, mingle, and make memories under the sun!
Think your sweet treat has what it takes to win? Enter our Dessert Duel by bringing a homemade dessert of your choice. Maybe a secret family recipe, or a new creative dish! When you arrive, you’ll be given a number card to place by your dessert—no names allowed! Throughout the event, attendees will sample the treats and cast their vote for the dessert they think is the best. The dessert with the most votes wins a special prize and ultimate bragging rights! Just remember: keep it secret, keep it sweet—no telling anyone which dessert is yours! Please ensure if your dessert has any common allergens in them (gluten, dairy, etc.) to please list that on the card if possible to assist our allergy sensitive members with navigating the dessert options safest for them.

Parking:
For vehicles who do not have the Metropark Motor Vehicle Entry Pass, you will be responsible to pay $10 for the day pass to park.
All vehicles entering any Metropark property must have a current annual pass or a daily pass. These passes give you access to all 13 Huron-Clinton Metroparks. For vehicles who do not have the Metropark Motor Vehicle Entry Pass, you will be responsible to pay $10 for the day pass to park.

Does my Michigan Recreation Passport qualify for admission?
Michigan’s Recreation Passport, purchased for your Michigan license plate, does not allow entry into the Metroparks. The Huron-Clinton Metroparks is a separate regional park system from the Michigan State Parks and requires its own entry permit.
What payment methods do you accept?
The Metroparks accepts Cash, Checks or Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard and Discover) for entry, events, rentals and concessions.

GBTA Michigan is pleased to offer your food truck experience complimentary! Attendees will be able to select one entree and side from the menu. Below is a preview menu of the food truck offerings:
