The business travel tech landscape is crowded, and buyers are constantly forced to make trade-offs. This interactive, March Madness–style session puts key travel technology capabilities into a tournament format, with audience voting deciding what advances and what gets knocked out. Panelists will debate capabilities spanning booking and content access, payments and identity, duty of care, data visibility, analytics, automation and more—sharing candid insight into what delivers real value versus what sounds good on paper. Expect strong opinions, real-world context, and fewer assumptions about “must-have” tech.

12:25pm: Networking Lunch
1:25pm: AI Crystal Ball: Beating the Shot Clock on Hype vs. Reality
Referee: Jen Bankard

Will AI finally eliminate expense reports? Will virtual agents replace traditional servicing? Or will today’s bold promises stall before they ever reach real-world programs? The conversation around AI in business travel is full of predictions. But which ones will actually materialize before the clock runs out? In this fast-paced, interactive session, industry experts put their biggest AI forecasts on the table. Each prediction is made under the shot clock, forcing panelists to take a clear position before the audience votes: game-changing innovation or overblown hype? Which ideas beat the buzzer—and which never leave the court?
