Childs Advocacy Team - ("CAT") is a non-profit company organized pursuant to the provisions of the Michigan Nonprofit Corporations Act, Act 162, Public Acts of 1982. CAT provides legal and advocacy services to minor children involved in the legal justice system The corporation is incorporated and organized exclusively for charitable purposes. The purposes for which the corporation is organized is to defend human and civil rights of minor children; to advocate for the elimination and the prevention of cruelty to children; to provide relief of the poor, distressed and underprivileged; and to promote social welfare by providing legal counsel and legal advocates to minor children. - 100% of donations go directly to the cause.
Christmas Hope 2010 - Christmas Hope 2010 is an annual special project that The Childs Advocacy Team puts on. They collect Christmas gifts for underprivileged and at-risk children, including children in the foster care system. MBTA will be donating all monetary donations to Childs Advocacy Team. 100% of our silent auction donations will go to the Christmas Hope 2010 project.
Paws for Life -Paws for Life Rescue and Adoption is a 501c3 non-profit animal welfare organization, run by hard-working dedicated volunteers who rescue homeless, neglected, abused and abandoned dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. We use a network of loving foster care homes where animals stay until their forever homes find them. "Our mission is to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. We believe in matching animals and families to find the right fit for everyone. We promise to exhaust all efforts to place adoptable pets in lifelong, loving homes. Our goal is to find the best home possible for the homeless pets in our care."
