Ground Transportation Strategies

Ground Transportation is an essential part of a business trip, there are many strategies which can be implemented to measure and control this cost.  Selecting preferred Ground Transportation Vendors, from Rental Car, airport shuttles, sedan services etc.  Other methods can be incorporated to help control the ever rising government mileage reimbursement levels.  We will have key industry experts discuss the aspects of controls and when various options should be considered.  Case studies will be shared, as well as an open discussion from those present on their corporation's best practices.

Charles Braswell (retired Director of Global Travel - Daimler Chrysler) ~ Laura Benjamin (Isler), Director of Sales, National Car Rental (former Travel Manager- K-Mart), and Avik Chopral who has over 20 years experience in the travel industry, encompassing airline operations, corporate travel management and technology. Avik has an extensive background in travel automation, and has served in various technical roles at Ultramar Travel, Travelong and Fareportal, where his ideas led to several pending patents. In addition he has experience in travel management and has served as the Travel Manger for Dollar Dry Dock Bank and Spa Finders. In his present role at GT3, he is promoting the benefits of ground transport automation to the travel community and helping strengthen relationships with existing clients. Avik graduated with a business degree from St. John?s University in New York.
