This year we are starting a scholarship fund to offer MBTA memberships in the 2010 year. Scholarships will be awarded by written application and open to both allied/direct members. They will be funded by donations from our members, and or sponsorships. We will be continuing the December dinner purely as a charity fundraiser to benefit the local community, but the rest of the year we will focus on raising scholarship funds. This is in line with what many of the other local NBTA chapters do.
