Our featured presentation will be made by the Detroit Metro Covention and Vistior's Bureau. The DMCVB is a multi faceted organization whose primary objective is to bring visitors to the Detroit area for conventions, meetings and leisure visits.

Michael O'Callaghan is the Executive VP and COO of DMCVB

Chris Baum is the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and has been instrumental in forming and managing Film Detroit our organization dedicated to bringing film crews to Metro Detroit.

Jim Townsend is the Executive Director of the Tourism Economic Development Council which has developed individual destination districts across southeastern Michigan.

Dave Beachnau is the Executive Director of the Detroit Metro Sports Commission which is responsible for the Final Four's visit to Detroit along with multiple major amateur sports competitions.

Carla Conner-Penzabene will address the sales and marketing initiatives in promoting Detroit.

The overall focus will be on how Detroit can be a great destination for your meetings, while keeping cost in line during these tough economic times.
