Dave worked in retail travel for 11 years prior to working in corporate travel as global travel leader for a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical company for 17 years and a global aerospace company for 11 years.   He has created travel policies and lead global airline, hotel, travel agency, online booking tool, expense management systems and other global travel sourcing initiatives.  He also was responsible for selecting and implementing a global traveler security and traveler tracking company. 

Dave was a member of the Deming Study Group of greater Detroit for many years and has presented at GBTA and ASQ (American Society for Quality).  He attended the University of Michigan, the University of Hawaii and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and CTC designation. He is a past president of the Michigan Business Travel Association and Allied Chapter Presidents Council.

Dave has completed 196 free fall parachute jumps and was a licensed jump-master,  training students. He has been married to the same woman for 42 years and they have 1 son and 3 daughters. In addition to travel, his interests include: gardening, practicing Yoga, playing tennis and reading political biographies.

Dave is currently working with Areka Consulting as Director of North America.  Areka has experienced representatives in Europe, Asia & North America and assists companies with all aspects of travel management including: sourcing initiatives, data consolidation, policy development and program assessment.
